okay so I posted on another part of the forum before i started on this engine swap. the backstory i have a 22r ordered a take-out motor and got a 21-RU. shippers who sold it to me basically talked me out of sending it back since i would be paying the shipping and said that this conversion works all the time. three weekends ago myself and my dad started on the conversion process. it had it's ups and downs and way more of a pain in the ass then i wanted but we got er don. after pulling the engine out twice to swap oil pans, tonight we were ready to fire er up. i had converted intake manifolds as i was under the impression that i was going to need the 22r manifold in order to hook up all my odds and ends. started adding coolant and stupid me totally missed the fact that the 22r manifold has one extra coolant port that puked water everywhere. so i'm at wits end now, the question i have for anybody and everybody is what do i do now, has anyone else ever done this engine swap? should i take that manifold off enough to JB weld the ˟˟˟˟ out of that port so coolant no longer can puke? or silicone a thin plate of some type on there? thanks all i appreciate any suggestions.
