couldn't find a donor car, but pullapart had a 91 ls400 so I went today and got the motor, the main wiring harness that comes in behind the glovebox and the ecm. Oh and I got the smaller, I assume, trans ecu also. I'm still undecided whether I'm going to use the ls bellhousing or a conversion b.h. but I'm going to go back tom. and get the b.h while it's there. To the guys that have done this what all did I need to grab from the donor? I didn't get whatever was on the pass. Fenderwell pertaining to throttle linkage. Any other harnesses I should have grabbed?

Not sure on the LS400. On the SC400 it's behind the rear seat side panel, I think passenger side - could be driver's side I can't remember. If you find it cut the plug off the wiring harness so you have it too. I'd try and locate a factory wiring manual for your year and model of donor to see if it has one.

ls 400 does not have the fuel pump ecu it has a relay instead , and its one of 2 relays attached to the ecu , the other being the cor relay which you wont need ... and the sc 400 has it behind the driver on the passengers arm rest panel , behind that ..
dont for forget the connector on the ecu that goes into the dash harness .. that plug you got that goes to the oil pan is for the oil temp and oil level.
dont forget the rear oxygen sensor plugs with some wire.
Good luck Bro!

Ok here's what I got off my donor car, the smaller ecu is for abs so ignore that
These are the plugs on my engine harness. I'm pretty sure these go to ecu
And them theres these three plugs that I dont recall where they went
Also here is my ecu, when I looked up the number it came back as not having traction control, is this accurate information?
apparently someone had gotten to the car before I did so I'm missing a few things, can you tell what I'm missing?

Update: I have been busy with little stuff, trying to clean the interior up because I know once its running it'll get put off and never done. Also wired my little lean to for lights and ordered my bellhousing. I ordered my bellhousing from somewhere in thailand on 11/24 and have been trying to forget about it ever since. When I ordered it said the expected delivery date would be around jan. 5th. I don't know about anyone else but when I order something online the worst part is waiting for it to arrive. Well my mom called me yesterday and said that I had a package at her house. Sure enough it was my bellhousing. 3 days and it was here, that's pretty impressive in my book. Anyway on to some pictures.
