So I currently have a flat belly 1985 toyota truck 22RE with duals. I have been toying around with the idea of throwing either a 3.4 or a 1UZ to spice things up. The front is 3 linked so one of my main issues would be having to run a crossover exhaust set up. However, the way I have made my tranny mounts and tunnel for the 22RE flat belly I just don't know how much clearance there is in between the back of the motor and the cab to run a cross over pipe.

I could always cut the cab, but just wanted to see what all pictures are out there showing the end of the bell housing in relation to the cab etc.

You don't have to use the stock crossover pipe. Just run straight off the exhaust manifolds back

I would do that if my slave cylinder was not on the pass side as well as my link. There is just no room for how my current 3 link is set up. Not saying I couldn't change it but With the drive shaft also being on that side it makes it near impossible.
