i just got into working on cars and am working on my Chevy elcamino my grandfather gave to me... this is not the problem. my buddy has been talking about this 84 Yoda pick up for the last six years and final got to the point that he can work on it... the thing is that he enlisted in the navy and was going to sell his baby. i talked him out of it and convinced him to leave the truck with me while he's in boot camp and in school for the next six months. he has bought the 7m motor he wants in, clutch assembly, now I'm needing help on what other stuff i need... he wants cross over steering and i need to know what kind of things i need to get to set this up. what kind of pump, and other stuff to do the motor swap. he started with a 20r motor and going to the supra 3.0 motor... do i need a new radiator? anything else you guys can think of would be greatly appreciated.

new radiator for sure. Im doing this swap here in the next few weeks. Not to sure if you need a different oil pan because his truck has a solid front axle so I think you will be ok with the regular rear or mid sump oil pan. Your going to need the ECU wire harness, AFM, bellhousing,flywheel,clutch fork, and slave cylinder from the 5sp supra tranny. Oh and a electric fan because you cant use the stock fan becuse of clearance issues. Check out Supracharged.com almost all the info you will need can be found on that site. Also make sure and read alot on the swap and get all yous parts before doing the swap it will save you alot of trips to the bone yard!
