1uzfe speedo wiring
Hey guys, I'm doing a 1uzfe swap and have done most of the wiring and it is almost finished. It starts and runs good, and I have most of the gauges working. Only thing is the tach is off and I can't get the speedo to work. I am using the R150f from the truck and a 1990ls400 engine. I just plugged the plug from the lexus trans harness into the truck's speed sensor. Could this be an issue? What wires do I hook up under the dash? Also, how did you go about adjusting the tach? I am pretty bad at wiring, and this has definitely been the hardest part of the swap for me so far. I will probably do a write up when I'm done.

your tach is adjusted by a dial on the gauge itself. you will need to remove it to adjust it though. Unfortunately it doesn't have a specific setting for either engine so you kind of have to guess it. At operating temperature the 1uz idles at about 700rpms.
