1uzfe ks racing bellhousing

Hi, I am doing a 1uz swap with the R150 and have decided to go with the ks racing bellhousing to stick them together. They also sell their flywheel for $170. That is about the same or less than it would cost to have my flywheel modified. The problem is that I know others have bought the complete kit and had trouble finding a replacement clutch. It takes a 10.5" clutch, but does anyone know what clutchs will work with it? Will a marlin crawler clutch for the 3vze or maybe 5vze bolt up? or maybe a chevy 10.4"? Thanks

I believe their flywheel is from an overseas diesel application.

This is why I chose to get my own flywheel made.

Oh, so it would'nt fit the 1uzfe? On ebay it is sold with the R150 to 1uzfe bellhousing so I thought it would work. It would be simpler and easier than having mine machined, but if theirs needs modifications also...

It's for the 1uz, I just meant that it uses a clutch from a diesel engine that isn't sold in the us.

No answer from KS, guess I'll just get the bellhousing and make my 3vze flywheel fit

Someone here had LC Engineering make a custom flywheel to use either the 3vz or 5vz clutch on their 1uz conversion(can't remember which) but the price wasn't all that outrageous.

I called them several times and when I finally got someone to get back to me, they said it would cost way too much to be worth it. I even asked the guy about if they could do it when the next run of the 3/5vz FW's were made and he said the price would be the same. Basically LCE didn't sound like they wanted to do it again. The 1uzswapkits FW is a pretty good price and not that bad on shipping either.

While I know this is an old thread, I'll pipe in here since it pops up on googl. I have the KS bellhousing kit. The clutch disk is Aisin part number 31250-36113. It's off of a 3B diesel from the Land Cruiser (50/60/70 series).

Also I think Akina's kit is the exact same as KS. They are equally unresponsive.

I have done two with the 1UZFEswapkits kit and not had any problems! Clutch has held well!
