I removed the switches and vacuum tank and have installed manual hubs on the front. I know you can open the diff up and move the shift collar over and use a hose clamp to lock it.

I would like to know which vacuum line coming out of the diff to hook up directly to a vacuum source to have the differential locked all the time. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm definetly not an ADD expert, but the '97 T100 I acquired for the motor for my 3.4 swap only had one vacuum line coming from the diff. Since the PO that I got it from had removed all the VSV stuff, I simply connected that line to manifold vacuum and it locked the shafts.

Does your diff have more than one line coming from it?

I am up in Greeley for school, but I go down on the occasion. Harness worked great btw. The only thing left on the swap is the exhaust and swapping my hubs out and hooking everything up.

Thanks again for the wiring harness and the advice! If I ever go to a supercharger I will prolly be talking to you about it and look at yours

just suck on one of the hoses haha. If it engages the splined shaft then you know you sucked on the right hose. If not then suck on the other one. When the shift fork moves, you will feel a release of vacuum. DON"T ask me how I know this ROFL. but then as long as the other hose doesn't ever get vacuum you should be fine. Unless it rattles itself loose or something.
