Another EVAP plumbing thread
Hello all, looking for a bit of help.
I've gone through every EVAP thread I can find and it seems everyone is either swapping over the the 3.0 canister when going to the 3.4, or the end up with a 3.4 canister that looks completely different than mine. Picture is attached, any help as to which lines go where would be greatly appreciated

100 plus views... still at a loss.. more digging has led me to the fact this canister is either from a tundra or a carolla. No idea how it got into my tacoma, but it's what I'm working with. I've found a few routing guides online for the tundra so I'll plumb it accordingly and report back.

I *think* that's the EVAP canister from a 2000+(?) 4Runner or Tacoma, where that canister was located under the vehicle near the gas tank, as opposed to the early model 3.4s (at least the 96-99, I honestly have no idea when they switched the canister) that had the canister under the hood on the passenger fender.
As for plumbing it, I have no idea as I used a 97 3.4 and EVAP system, but check the FSM as it should provide some type of diagram.
EDIT: Superchiem is the only swap that I can think of that is using that style of EVAP canister, with a 2002 4Runner donor: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160...z-swap-243241/

That looks to be the one. Thank you very much! I'm lost on the corrugated tube though. I've labeled mine according to how I think according to diagrams. I'll snap a photo and post as well.
Thanks again
Won't let me attach a photo as its too large but the truck is the red linked toyota I've been working on for years. Should help explain why this corrugated tube is eluding me.

Would love to see how you put that evap box in, where you mounted it and how to plumbed the hoses. I'll be in the same boat soon, bought an engine from an 2003 tacoma and have that same evap setup.
