03 donor taco startup help

Hello to all! Let me start by describing my conversion. I have a 91 4runner a/t 4x4 that is the recipient of an 03 taco a/t 4x4. The conversion involved the transmission as well as dash, instrument cluster ect, and all the wiring harnesses. I figured if everything wire wise would just plug in to the original spot that this conversion would become more managable for more growing skill set. Plus I had everything available from my donor. That being said I have been wrapping it up and finally powered up the vehicle, turn the key to "on" and everything acted as should(ding, dash lights, shift lock released, head lights, ect). Then go to start and nothing but a click from what sounds like the starter relay. I spent the day checking my grounds and connections and though I am not certain that it may be the cause I felt need to research other possibilities. Btw I do have the original chipped key, dtcs reported p0101 p0102 the second of which is a fail safe ecu mode. Very drained in the brain after today, any advice would be much appreciated! Also any questions on my successes in the swap welcomed.

UPDATE: so I finally got to a point where I knew all my conversion wiring was correct then decided to jump signal the starter to eliminate more. I got crank! Put key to ON while doing this BOOM running truck! Still working on diagnosing keyed ignition but what a relief.

How did you run the wire to the starter? You may need to add a starter relay. If the starter solenoid is not seeing 10v or more it may not trigger the starter.

Thanks for the reply. So I figured out the park neutral safety switch was immobilizing the vehicle. This due to me not having the transmission gear select lever attached leaving me to assume that forward was park. Rookie move, felt pretty dumb but extremely relieved.
