transmission leaks...please help!

So i was on my way to a friends graduation party (on the freeway) and my A/T temp light came on. pulled over and it was spewing flewid out from somewhere (didn't want to get too close in my good clothes). I was using the O/D switch a lot (75 with a few inclines). I let it cool down, then took the back roads the rest of the way. Took the freeway home and it was fine the whole way. I also drive the freeway (15 min.) to and from work every day and nothing ever happend again. Then on a camping trip it overheated again. This time i had alot of extra weight (3 people and all the gear for a 4 day trip), plus i was going up a fairly long, slightly steep grade. This was about two weeks ago. So I assume its time for an additional cooler right? I just finished draining and refilling my transmission and now i developed a huge leak on the top of the trannie. Sort of infront of the shift lever. What the heck is up there that could leak? And its deffinately AT fluid. What do you guys reccomend?
Sorry for the novel, but now you know whats been going on.

Chase, When is the last time you flushed the radiator and transmission? Seems like it only does it under a load so it just may be over heating and need new anti fluid

the radiator is brand new, along with the engine, and coolant. the fluid was drained when i did the engine, about two months ago, and then again this weekend. Im really fearing that it might be a huge crack in the housing, but wouldn't that leak like mad every time i drive it?
