The vehicle: 3rd Gen, '99 SR5

The Problem: Vibration when going freeway speeds; 50+ mph (feels like its driving over a washboard)
Diagnosis: Worn front U-Joint
The Fix: Replaced front U-joint

I've recently had some serious vibration coming from my Runner, most noticeably from the drive train. I had my mechanic look the truck over, and determined that the front u-joint was bad. I had it replaced, but after taking the vehicle back onto the freeway on the ride home, there is still a slight vibration present. Not as noticeable, but still present. I will be taking it back in tommorrow, but i was hoping I could get some ideas as to what else I should have him look at (or perhaps i should have a dealer look it over instead?). Any help appreciated!

Make sure the driveshaft is put back on the same orientation before removal. I had the same thing happen to me after I installed my rear air locker. Found out that the driveshafts are balanced and should be installed exactly prior to removal.

The shaft is balanced, but what you are referring to is phasing and a single-cardan shaft will only run smooth if it is phased properly:
