wiring harness from a 91 Toyota Pickup manual to a 3.4 engine
has anybody done the wiring harness from a 91 pick manual transmission to a 97 5vzfe engine. I am confused with the wiring harness I would like a better understanding. I have everything for the 3.4 the engine harness the ECU even the harness off the dash of the donor 1997 4 runner. Even with all the different options every car has there's got to be a basic wiring schematic somebody has come up with. If anybody does have a schematic or can at least tell me how to wire ecu to my pick up. my main question would be what wires are the ones I have to worry about. I have a 28 pin connection off the ecu and I can't figure out.

Theres plenty of info on where to start if you do some searching. No one will feed you the info for your build, you gotta do the research. You need the electric wiring diagrams, which you have to usually buy unless you get lucky and find someone who has posted the info publicly

I guess there no easy way of doing this. I just didn't want to spend that 500 plus dollars getting one from ORS. Like I was saying I've got everything I need just need the now how. Well let me ask the question. Is there any one that can make the harness for a lower price.

Toyonlyswaps.com i believe its $400 for theirs compared to ORS $700. Which WAS $500 seems they upped the price. After seeing the cost im doing the job myself on mine.

Have you read all the Threads in the 3.4 swap section
Do you have the automatic or manual ECM out of the 97 4Runner??
You just pretty much need to merge your vehicle harness to the new ECM
It is not real hard but you need to have both the EWD`s (electrical wiring diagrams) for your vehicle and the donor engine.
if you don`t have the schematics the frustration let alone getting it done is more then I want to think.
Perhaps some one close to you can help I would if your close.

I do have the have ECU from the donor 1997 4 runner It's automatic. My pickup has a manual transmission. I did get the diagram for both the toyotas. But the funny thing is that the donor 4runner has 1998 5vz engine in it for a other 4runner that also rolled over. So I'm having to get the diagram for that year to. I would like it if you would help with the harness swap. My wife is upset after I purchased this 91 toyota because not long after I got it the head gasket took a sh** on me. but here is were I started I got everything I need on the electrical side. BUT need some now how. Here's a diagram I don't understand because the conector has no dam numbers. Well I hope to get your help on tackling this harness I would very much appreciate it.

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but spend a couple of evenings reading through as many of the stickies and various build threads as you can in the 3.4 swap sub-forum: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160/
At a minimum, read these:
