O2 sensor and alternator wiring

Just bought this buggy, its an 83 chassis with an 87 engine with efi and I'm trying to clean up the wiring. The O2 sensor wasnt connected so I dont know where to run the wire for the new one I just installed (single wire) . The problem is the po left both the 83 and the 87 wire harnesses so I removed the 83 and have been trying to eliminate all the extra wires I can. Its a bit of a mess but Im getting there. Right now I just need to figure where to run the alt wires and connect the O2

Now I have figured out that this is more of a Heinz 57 than I first thought. The alternator is from an older model with the external voltage regulator, the wiring harness is from a 94 so I need to know what wire I need to run the single wire sensor to from the 4 wire plug. And what wires go where on the voltage regulator and the alternator. Thanks ahead of time for Any help I'm about to pull what hair I have left out.
