omg sorry guys i cant catch a break right now, been meaning to update this thread but- full time work and full time school with a new baby- i cant even find time to sleep hehe.
I have completed the bob, and swapped my cab for one with a sunroof. The cuts were flawless, everything lines up 100% straight, doors close, new windshield fit like stock, and canopy bolts all go right in.
I have the engine fully put back together, and it is sitting on the floor of my electrical class, I am about to start putting on the harness. I ended up putting rosten rods into the engine when i rebuilt it, new rings, bearings, stage 2 cam, and arp head studs.
I calculated the proper ar flow required for this turbo setup and determined I need an air filter that will flow much more air (scfm), I will most likely buy a donaldson for it.
I am also going to look at the diameter of the fuel lines, I am not sure the stock toyota lines are fat enough to supply the amount of fuel I need for this setup.
I am going to cut out the tranny tunnel soon, and start fitting this truck for a flat belley, making myself a custom xfer case cross member, and also going to fab a baffled aluminum fuel tank to sit in the framerails above the rear axle.
I need to finish out the body work and fiberglass work for the topper still, and I will most likely be cutting out the fenders to fit larger tires.
Hopefully I will get pics of all this soon, I am taking them at least hehe, just need to upload and post them sometime.

Yea the engine is in, need to weld in the transfer case crossmember mounts, and I need to deal with a stripped out hole in the block that the motor mount is supposed to bolt in to. After that it is plumming, making a bracket for the fmic, and the paint / bodywork. Slow going, I have a lot going on right now and trying to focus on family / career. But progress is being made. This year I am planning on buying acreage and building a large shop- when that happens things will progress a little more quickly.

Whoa whoa whoa, don't leave us hanging! How'd this thing ever turn out? I'm mainly interested in the final power specs, tire size, axle gears, and fuel economy. Right now I have 4.88's with 37's and the OM617 and I hate it. 84hp 144LB*FT and 16mpg.
