this summer in idaho
This picture has the hd springs installed on the truck. I think that the hd springs and the regular springs are the same length, although I never measured. With that said, once my regular springs broke in, the shackle angle was a little more kicked back from where it is now, which I thought was better. I think the hd springs will come down a little more but I probably won't notice it.
I don't know if the marlin hanger is the same as the trail gear hanger, I assume they are very similar, but I think i would still flush it up in the front, and maybe look into sliding the frame tube jigs as far forward as you can get them instead of centering them, to get a little more shackle angle.
If it would help I could measure the distance from the center of the front hanger bolt to the center of the frame tube jig, this way it would not matter if the hangers were the same or not. Just a thought.
That would be great. I have gather 95% of the parts to completely revamp this thing. Just waiting on a Marlin knuckle rebuild kit and some shocks and I am ready to go

Dude, your truck is exactly how I want mine to look once I swap in my axle. What did your total cost end up being? Next question is do you think I would need the HD springs if I'm running the 22re and a trail gear tube bumper up front?
