Time lapse of a SAS at Addicted Offroad

Started this morning. Nothing had been done on this except that it was on jack stands ready.

This is an ultra clean 89' 4runner. 22RE 5spd. Zero rust on it and like two penny size dings in the whole rig. One of the cleanest 1st gen 4runners I have ever seen.

These pics were taken at 9:45am this morning. I will update today as we get closer on this.

1:30pm and all grinding is done. Welding on the front hanger, and frame tubes.

Our goal is to have the front completely finished today.

awesome! Take tons more photos! You can also make a time lapse video (even to music) using Muvee Reveal. There's a free 15 day trial you can score here:
http://www.muvee.com/en/
This app lets you post direct to YouTube, or save to your PC as an HD movie.

Not sure I have time to mess with that. At some point, I will do a live webcam build or something similar at some point though.

You'd be surprised how fast and easy it was. Litereally 4 steps:
1) Drag and drop all of your photos in
2) Choose a song (from your hard drive as an MP3)
3) choose a slide show style
4) hit "go" (it does all the work for you

I want to say 24"x12" at least. They aren't going anywhere. I have done numerous swaps with those. I am saving for a lift at this point though.

Just click the attachments and they open up bigger. I will go back and fix them when I have more time, but I really want to finish the goal today.

Nah, I am just very efficient with these now. I knocked one out in four days last week too. More of a mall crawler though:

So, just waiting on paint to dry on the back of the shock hoops so we can weld them on. Then steering stabilizer brackets and quick alignment and the front

Done with the front. Will paint the front axle to match before it leaves.

Day 2 started pretty quick as well.

Rear axle is pulled, perches cut off and ready to go back under. In the process of plasma cutting the rear brackets off right now and getting it ready for grinding.

What's happening with the rear axle? Are you installing longer springs and therefore need different mounting locations?
