73 Toyota 2wd SAS

I've got a project I plan on starting on in the near future. From the looks of the front suspension it just bolts in so it looks pretty easy to remove but the frame itself is made a little funny where the steering box bolts to. I was wondering if anybody else had done the swap & had any pictures of how they mounted the steering box and leaf springs. Already have a 4.3 & some axles to swap in. This will be for my girlfriends nephew to run in the local mud bogs and such but I'd still like it to be streetable.

Here's an older pic of it, it's a really solid truck for the year.

I haven't seen many that old on here. I would love to see what you do with it. 1973 is when my dad bought our first Toyota. He spent WWII fighting in the Pacific so I guess he forgave them. There's a 1971 that's been on out local CL for $2100

Hey, where are you located? I just noticed your old inspection sticker looks like a VA one.

Only other pic from CL:

That one is sweet but I picked this one up from a buddy for a lot less than $2100. I'm from Va as well but probably a bit more south than you.
