Wheeling in the challis or sawtooth regions of Idaho

Has anyone wheeled in the salmon-challis or sawtooth areas of Idaho, I am planning a long trip out west from South Carolina and will be spending time in this area, all of y'all's input would be great thank you!!

I have been to the challis area way back when I worked for the Forest Service. Awesome country. Looked like there was miles and miles of logging roads. Wish I could have spent more time there.

Yea there's a lot but less crawling more trail riding, did take my parents Lexus gx 3/4 of the way to boulder city this afternoon off of hwy 75, all in all there's a lot here, just hard to find
