It's been a bloody long wait.
According to NOAA Napa and Sonoma counties are supposed to see some rain this evening, but we need a solid few months' worth of it.

As of now, private property. If I could have other Toyotas join me I would ask but it's a very limited privilege.

And I'm still waiting.. What is wrong with the weather?? It's been the weirdest Winter. Although it is supposed to "rain" tomorrow. You guys remember what rain is right?

Something to do with a vortex on the pole is messing with the winds and sea pattern combinations that bring down the weather we need from Alaska. I don't really know for sure, but it is officially a drought now, which means we can't wash our hands without guilt, but winemakers and vineyards are free to piss all the water the want down the drain.

It's wine country. They do what they need to do for their precious grapes... I looked at lake Sonoma the other day and it looks roughly 10-15ft lower than normal. Only saw the water as I passed over the bridge but that's what it looked like.

But what is still worse than any part of this drought is all the road cyclist on the back roads 7 days a week

Yes, but on my road they don't ride single file or care if I'm late for work. I've had them fill my entire lane before, and not move over! I just lay on the horn and yell out my window..

I like to call it "Whine" country.
Winter's slightly cold? The vintners cry up a storm.
Winter's just right? The vintners cry up a storm.
Not enough sales in the summer? Guess what the vintners do...
If I had the money, I'd buy up a nice vineyard lot just to rip up the damn plants for a native plant sanctuary and piss off the Wine Country crowd.

*edit* "Native Plant Sanctuary" is NRM Student speak for leaving it fallow.

Friggen cyclists!
I respect the physical endurance their hobby requires, but how can they justify copping such an attitude when they cause and perpetuate all the ill-will? Instead of a Smart Train, we should just shell out for separate cyclist roads. Separate roads riddled with landmines.
