looking at this truck and have a few ?
Craigslist: 1985 toyota pickup http://charlottesville.craigslist.or...940181359.html
Things i know it needs:
Parking brake cable
Windshield
Reverse and turn signals for the flatbed
Sounds like it has some timing chain guide chatter
Couple of nickel sized holes in the floor board and needs carpet
I have experience with fuel injected motors, but i have 0 with anything carbed. It comes with a set of 33s but i have my eyes on a set of either bfgs or michelins. Was curious as to what yall would think.

well they fixed the bad thing which is old asian carbs they always fail at the throttle plate shaft they put on a weber, better econ an performance better idle control as well
timing chains always need replacing in any old rig like this should be done anyhow unless they have proof its been done recently an put an metal rail set in
rear signals you can get LED ovals from a truck stop if you have a plasma cutter or access to one fast easy cut pop um in the plate across the back an wire up fast flashing from LED use easy fix look up toyota LED flasher fix it removes a resistor from the flasher relay
brake cable ehh PYP yard or ebay.. maybe even dealer
1600 though...id offer um 13-12 as the frames been bobbed for the flatbed you'll never put a bed back on as a result and you have to get a new windshield asap
just IMO
