IFS Aisin Manual Hubs
I have a spare set of Aisin manual hubs here, thinking of repainting/rebuilding and selling them, is it really necessary to keep a spare set around?
I might go wheeling about 2-3 times a year, but when I do I usually beat on it pretty good. Those who know me, know what I am talking about.
Eventually the truck will have BJ spacers and diff drop, and maybe some low profile bump stops up front. Thinking I should keep them around in case I snap a cv at the splines/c-clip, just in case it tears apart the hubs. Don't know if I am over thinking that or if it's even plausible.
P.S. I will not sell to someone who answers no in this thread.

It never hurts to have spares. You never know what might happen. If your luck is like mine, as soon as you get rid of them something will happen. I bought a wrecked truck and I still have most of the parts off of it. I reckon one day the ol lady will gripe enough I will start getting rid of stuff.

OK..., well I'm slowly but surely becoming a parts hoarder.
never truly tried Joe's 4runner .....so not sure if we will need it or not.
I'd keep them...

good point wabbit. I know the ADD cv's had issues breaking at the c-lip and normally the weak point is the CV-joint itself. I can see where the SFA guys would have issues. Especially the ones using longfields.
Not sure about what you mean by the ADD drive flange though.
