Hello, First day
Like to introduce myself and greetings to all youtech members. From SoCal desert. Just Bought my first 4runner 2nd Toyota. Planing on doing a Multi-Rock Crawl Pre-Runner & Swap out the 22RE for a 3.0 Hilux Turbo Diesel(1KZ-TE) 22RE are Great Engines, Excellent Engineering, however (my opinion) diesel has a far better reputation. I'm a Diesel Fan (German Engineering Technology)

I'm thinking about that or the C Straight 6, since it's unlimited source where as the toyota diesel are very limited and rare to the point it would be consider illegal on the gov. public roads. it's my DD, so I want to keep it legal on streets. + more power with C engines

straight 6 would have to move the radiator ... no way you'd fit an intercooler and radiator in there.
or cut into the cab/dash and scoot it back.
I'd prefer a 6bt but 1100 pounds total, not including tranny .. the space it takes up...
might need to measure 15 times and cut once ....

Pretty much it would be ripping power out like a beast as other big trucks, only difference 4runner body (light compact/mini toyota).
Turn it into a perfect tow rig LoL
