Index wall trail is closed for who knows how long because of certain PEOPLE. I was there a couple weekends ago and there was a crew in there doing trail maintenace. Lake Isabella trail, I think, is closed for a while too...Those are the only trails that I know of that are closed.

For those of you who live close to Reiter Trails and frequent the area often, I feel sorry that a holes have to spoil it.

What did they do, go off trail and wreck established runs?

Hope they get the area opened back up, it is a very popular area.
I have only been there once, a week before my FJ came in I was at a Trail Teams event there.

Not everyone cares to honor the "tread lightly" moto or "pack it in pack it out", which is too bad. And if everyone did i'm sure there would be a lot of trails still open to be enjoyed by all.

Sure man its good to just go out and enjoy your time wheeling.

I encourage you to read/and spread the information about Treadlightly. I have a link in my sig. Just picking up all your own and others trash will go a long way, as well as staying on trail.

Have fun!

Its a shame folks turn a blind eye until things start getting closed. They don't get involved till its too late..

Those who have been up there and seen a work party--I am always the lead guy on those prodjects that are not DNR driven. We work hard to try our best to retian the trails in there origional form and keep more damage from happening..

For those who do wish to get involved--please follow the link that chrisco posted.

I could go on for a few hours on what has been going on for the last 2 years--but I will save myself the hassel and just post the latest info..

And here is the map..

Man 31's are fine! I have a mild lift with 31's and I have gone everywere in reiter. Only been stuck once. Don't worry about it, go out and have fun.
