The Hammers: Johnson Valley-final Marine Corp Environmental impact statement 7.27.12

The Marine Corp will issue their final environment Impact statement for their proposed expansion into Johnson Valley California. Many will recognize this as the site of the King of the Hammer's Race.

You can view the final impact statement here beginning July 27th
http://www.marines.mil/unit/29palms/...s/default.aspx
you can voice your opinion on it from July 27th throught August 27th.

As a veteran I whole heartedly support the need for training areas but if the Marines go east, they will get the land they need and still leave a cool wheeling place open. I for one want to wheel the Hammers some day.
