Today me an wife went to eat and i jumped in the pass side, she pulls off and im like, whats that smell? I smelled my clothes and her clothes, they smelled fine she like what do u smell? Im like its something soured like you left the clothes in the washer. Well about 5 miles later and the smell was coming and going i went to adjust my seatbelt and it was wet so i smelled it and sure enough it was the culprit. My wife tells me that a few weeks ago my daughter was complaining that it was wet, but she fig it got caught in the door, now mind you that it came a frog drownin yesterday and i know for a fact that the belt wasnt stuck in the door frame. Has any1 heard or had this issue , ive already had to have the windshield resealed for leaks .

Well you know it ain't the windshield getting the seatbelt wet. Perhaps from the rain the other day getting in and out of the vechile it got wet or a window was cracked inadvertently?

The seat belt part thats visible is dry its like the part of it thats rolled up and hidden is wet and yhere were no passengers at all durring the rain

If you have a roof rack put some kinda sealer down in where the bolts screw in you prob have rain water comin in thru there
