T100 maf

I'm a newbie to this forum. I searched in several areas of this forum and can't seem to find any info on how or whether a MAF from a 96 T100 can be cleaned. See attached picture. Are they considered a "non-serviceable" part? Any help would be appreciated.

clean

You buy mass air flow cleaner from auto zone, take the air filter off, and spray out the maf real good, And then if you want to do a good cleaning, take the whole air system off the throtle body, and take it off and clean it with lighter fluid, and a paint brush, and maf spray. after cleaning the butterfly, you take the 3 screws on the side and take it off.. DO NOT loose the rubber gasket, or spray anything on it, because it expands and is a pain in the a$$ to put back on. after cleaning all the ports, and whole throtle body, but gasket on the best u can and use a pick to pry it on with top on. assemble it all togethet and spray your maf with mafs cleaner a little more. inside and out, and assemble it all together. Make sure to connect all hose due to antifreeze that runs through throttle body. After doing this hour job, your truck runs 2x better and you gain mpg. but if you just want to clean the mafs u described, take air filter off, Spray it with the spray, assemble back together, and done, Happy 3.4

That style is really hard to clean. The later drop in style you can see the "hot wire" and most times can carefully scrape the crud build up off with a tiny screw driver. Its usually dirty from lack of air filter service and........ Oiled performance air filters.
