'95 T-100 brake light, blower motor, etc.
Alright, here goes nothing. My '95 Base 2.7L has been a phenomenal truck for a very long time. Recently, however, some issues have cropped up that need fixing.
This past week my brake lights have stopped operating. The lights themselves are fine, as they work when turned on -- they only don't get brighter when braking. The high mount brake light does not come on either. I removed and tested the brake light switch, and it appears to be functioning normally. The fuse is fine.
In addition to this, the blower motor has not been working for some time. I thought the issue was the resistor, as it used to only operate on high (then not at all for a while), but I replaced that earlier this week, and the motor still does not kick in. I tore apart the motor not too long ago, and there appeared to be some life left in the brushes -- I'm planning on replacing those in the not-too-distant future. The A/C light does come on in the dash, and the compressor kicks in when I switch it on.
The in-dash brake light comes on periodically as well. Fluid level is still well within the min/max lines. May be a faulty sensor or switch, but I read somewhere that some alternator issues may trigger the light.
I've examined the wiring schematics and fuses, and both systems look like they tie into the 80-amp alt. fusible link adjacent to the battery. I was browsing past threads and came across this:

and was wondering if something similar may be to blame in this case. Now that I think about it, the radio makes a clicking sound at the same speed as the engine. I also tested my battery/charging system tonight, and the battery shows up as bad, but the alternator is still good. Starts are a little sluggish, but nothing troubling yet.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
