wont start

My wife 95 runner won't start. Battery is brand new, replaced since problem started yesterday. (Wife bought before I had a chance to test and nothing wrong with old battery heh). Anyways all it does is click when key is turned. All lights, radio, wipers, etc work fine. Any help would be cool.

Have interior lights, headlights, radio, but nada. Battery is fine in that case, starter is bad, take a hammer or large metal pipe and tap the starter a bit with someone in the truck trying to turn it over.

It will fire right up but if you shut it off it wont go again.

Sounds like your starter contacts are bad. There are write ups on how to replace them on here if you search. The parts to repair this are only approx $15, and it takes a few hours to pull, rebuild, and re-install the starter.
