radar detectors/ scramblers

hey, i got my first speeding ticket and now im in the market for a radar detector/ scrambler. i dont really care how much i pay as long as i get a GOOD one..... i dont care about the law either (regarding these in cali)...

V1 or passport 8500. theres several threads on both of these detectors

or maybe you could...umm slow down?

1. better mpg
2. no tickets
3. no raised insurance from #2
4. no (400+) invested in a detector

So what are we looking at here?

100+ for the ticket
500+ per year insurance hike
400+ dollar radar detector
100 dollar class to try avert the insurance hike, but it wont...

You know the more you do the math the more appealing driving the limit or maybe only 5 over is...


but if you are hell bent on wasting money needlessly, I'd recommend the valentine V1 with the pop radar update as well as the european radar update (they are starting to use it here.) I havent checked recently but it SHOULD be VG2 stealth as well... And I recommend that over belltronics that we sell
