Need some help

So I pulled my motor out to do a rebuild and I've got it all back together and it will crank but not start. It's giving me two codes pretty much saying I don't have an AFM but I tested it and know it's good. I did however find a plug that was disconnected and was wondering if that was my problem and where it goes. It's a 94 3.0. Any help will be appreciated I need to get it running asap it's my daily and I need it😂

Red face

Well is the plug on your AFM ??

Maybe you bent a pin on the AFM plug

Pinched some wires doing the pulling and install

Have the ECU ground wires hooked up ??

I think that loose connector in your picture is the knock sensor.

I just rebuilt mine too, and it seemed to take a lot of cranking at first to get it started. I am wondering if it takes a while to clear the air out of the injector lines. Jumped the test circuit to run the fuel pump for a couple minutes before attempting to start mine, but even after cranking several times, the plugs were still dry and did not even smell like gasoline. Eventually started.

Make sure the plug from the disturber to the ignition coil is seated properly as this can cause the engine to turn over but not start as well.
