program a new remote?

I have a 1998 4Runner Sr-5 with the RS3000 dealer installed security system. One of my remotes was broken and the dealership wants 85 bucks for a new one plus 39 bucks to program it. I found several on eBay for less than 20 bucks. Anyone have the programing instructions?

already did that...

I could not find it on this site. But I did search google using your suggested phrase "rs3000 programming" and it brought up your original write up. (The link has to be copied and pasted in order to bring up the page.) Thanks.

Did anyone ever figure out how to program a second remote for the rs3000? I have followed Bob's writeup on how to program the first (reset ECU and press buttons on remote) but I am not sure if this is the same procedure for the second.
