installing an alarm

I just bought a new audiovox alarm system and am trying to install it this weekend. Only thing is that when I took off the steering column covers I realized I had no idea which wires go to what. anyone know where to find a list of color codes for the wires or have a list already made up? Thanks for the help.

if you dont know how to install the alarm than you should have have it professionally done. I have seen SO many people screw up an alarm install and their vehicle is forever screwed.

anyways

You are going to need a multimeter, wiring diagram for your YEAR truck, not your generation, it changes every year. And the wiring diagram for the alarm.

have fun!
