Exclamation DEI Valet Keyless Entry 712t

I had DEI valet keyless entry 712t system installed on 2001 Toyota Corolla... I want to do the progressive door unlocking (unlock the driver's door only...pressing the unlock button an additional time will unlock the passenger doors).

Here's the info on the wires on it:

Valet 712T Primary Harness (H1)

1- Red (+)12v constant power input
2- Blue (-2)200mA second unlock output
3- blk/wh1 Input domelight supervision relay #87
4- blk/wh Output domelight supervision relay #30
5- green/blk Lock #30 Common output
6- wh/blk Lock #87 Normally closed
7- Violet/blk Lock #87 Normally open (input)
8- Blue/blk Unlock #30 Common (output)
9- Violet Unlock #87 Normally open (input)
10- White (+/-) Parking light flash output
11- Black (-)Chassis ground input
12- Brown (-)Horn honk output
13- Lt Grn/blk Factory Alarm disarm
14- White/Blue (-)200mA Ch3 validity output
15- Yellow (+)Switched ignition input(accessory
16- Orange (-)500mA Ground-when-armed Output
17- Brown/Blk Unlock #87A Normally Closed
18- Red/White (-)Output of Channel 2

Do I need an additional RELAY to wire this... must be something to do with the BLUE wire...
The number 2 Blue (-2) 200mA second unlock output.

Thanks in advance!

its kind of a pain in the butt, you will have to rewire the drivers door lock motor thru the keyless brain. if its wired backwards, it will at the very least blow the fuse, if not, it will smoke the factory lock circuit.

although with your car, the wires should be in the drivers kick panel, so no need to run the wires into the door.

you shouldnt need an extra relay, because the vehicles door locks are currently set up as a negative trigger, and for the unlock of the drivers door, you will be using the internal relay in the 712t.

there are many an installer with 10+ years experience that cannot visualize the progressive locks, and how it works with a factory system, but if you have a very firm grasp on relays, how they work, and how to wire them, I can try and walk you thru it.

Hey, is this same for a 2002 Camry? Am trying to hook one up but not sure how. I think I can identify the cars lock and unlock wires. Do you just need the "lock and unlock #30 outputs" (#5 & 8) connected to these? What does grounding the "Lock and unlock normally open #87" (#7,9) do? I just want basic lock and unlock funtions to work with remote.

Hi, I want to install DEI valet keyless entry 712t system on 1999 Toyota Corolla by myself. I got the wires information of my car and 712t, but I don't know how to connect which or where wires in my car. I often cut the wires and connect them in home. This is the first time in the car. you know, I don't want to damage my baby. so I ask help, who can give me some detail pictures how to do. Thank you.
