So Ive tried the places that sell used japanese engines, local classifieds, craigslist, e-bay, and asking around. I cant find a good running 22R motor for my 88 4Runner. It finally died at 277,000 miles. Timing chain broke while on freeway. Dont want a junkyard POS and dont have the $$$ for a new motor or a quality rebuild. So for now just want a good motor I can drop in till I can afford a motor with cam, headwork, etc.
