Questions about torque converter stall testing
I'm not a transmission specialist, and what ever I might have learned during my apprenticeship way back in the dark ages I've forgotten..
How does being at, above, and below operating temperature effect the following.
Converter stall testing?
Fluid line pressure?
The only thing that really rings any bells, memory wise, is being way over hot causes the clutch plates to slip more.

OK - Here's your armchair guesses:
- Stall testing - Lacking knowledge of stall characteristics of torque converters I'd guess that thicker, cooler oils would cause the converter engage at lower RPM.
- Line pressures - I'd guess that line pressure would decrease as temp increases, due to lowered viscosity.
