Next vehicle, looking for advice from ya'll.
Like the title says I'm looking for my next vehicle. The 89 4runner has been fun but it's time for something a little more reliable/efficient/family friendly. I've been looking pretty hard at a 2010 Tundra limited but the local dealership will not come down on the price (31K) so it remains outside of my budget. That got me to looking at some 4runners in the 2000-2004 range and some of them look pretty good although I'm not real keen on the 3.0 (when did it stop eating head gaskets??). Also if I can get a 4runner then a few of the things on my 89 (wheels/tires/cargo rack/camping stuff) can be swapped onto the new one, after a mild lift of course.
And if all that fails to happen looks like I'll be getting back into a Ford diesel....
My only criteria are
1) leather/loaded/heated seats/etc
2) 4x4 (duh)
3) Full sized-ish. I don't want a Tacoma
4) 4 full sized doors
5) Economy/reliability/availability of after market goodies since you know damn good and well I'm going to need a lift and at least one locker.... maybe some bumpers also.
Under 14k$ would be nice, under 10k$ would be better.
Primary use is a DD with weekend runs into the hills for camping and some occasional towing.
Thanks folks.

I bought a 2000 4runner about a year ago, which I love to death, but I kinda wish I would've saved for another year and bought a 4th gen. with lower miles. Not a huge fan of the body on the 4th gen, but you get so much more power and I'm sure the mileage would stay about the same.
