Looks like I'll be the only "future tense" poster here.

On Monday I'll be forking over $7,300 for a clean loaded '97 4Runner SR5 w/ 114K miles on it.

I see that you have some 12.5o tires on it. Are those them in the pics? I am thinking about getting some myself and wanted to know how they would look/if they rub.

Also any decrease in MPG?

Hi Yes, those are the 12.50's in the pic. I haven't noticed too much of a difference in the mileage. I get 300 miles to a tank now (with the 12.50's) Cant really remember what it was before the 12.50's. Hope that helps

I saw a bunch of good deals out East (a 2002 SE Black, one owner, CPO, 60k miles for $15.8k, which I could've probably talked them down on), but there is something to be said about being able to sit in the vehicle, drive it, before making a decision. I don't regret my decision at all.
When I was searching for my low mile 4WD 3rd Gen, I saw tons of good deals back east, but as soon as you start getting into the mountain regions out west the prices went to crap. Oh well, I've had mine for two months now and I'm loving it. Now if I could just make a decision on some rock sliders, lift, tires, and wheels... all would be good with the world.

Because it doesn't say "how much did you pay for your 3rd gen 4runner?"

It says "How much did you pay for your 4runner?"

That would be my guess...

Well, it's in the 3rd gen section (95.5-2004 Tacomas & 96-2002 4Runners), not the general forums. I'm not saying delete or kick anyone out. Just thought it was confusing.
