Highlander Oil Filter Debate: OEM 04152-YZZA1 vs. TRD Filter
I'm going to do a total maintenance overhaul next weekend on my V6 2012 Highlander -- oil change, plugs, fuel filter, brakes, etc.
I was about to order the OEM filter I used last time I changed it, (the OEM style one https://parts.olathetoyota.com/04152-yzza1.html) and I don't even know how but I was looking to compare prices and Amazon and this other filter came up...
What is this and why should I pay double for it?
It says that it's for multiple models and from what I can tell it fits, but it throws me off that it says that it's genuine. What it used for the TRD trucks?
Anyways, if anyone can tell me the actual benefit to use it on a stock Highlander, I'd appreciate it! Or I'll just save myself the 5 bucks and get the trusty ole' OEM one for my SUV.
