Broken P/S mount on block
**Edit: Turns out this is the mount for the Air Conditioner- and we are re-using the 1992 PS pump in its place ** progress pics below...
Hello all
I am just in the final stages of completing a 5VzFe swap and unfortunately I have a broken threaded piece where the power steering pump is meant to be mounted on the block (not the bracket) and can not thread a bolt back in.
Short of welding directly onto the block or trying something weird with different mounts- I wanted to check if anyone here had any ideas. I will post a pic tomorrow AM, as this just happened tonight :-/

I have added a few photos taken from the Passenger side wheel well. while in there, I noticed a mounting point a little lower down on the block. I think the plan of attack will be to fab something up and make a universal, adjustable bracket but has anyone ever done this before? Any tips much appreciated!
A little more research has revealed some universal kits available that I think I can mock up to utilize the second bolt hole just south of the broken ear... Ug, this is the last thing I wanted to do.

Thanks Wyoming9;
I haven't updated this thread, but here goes a bit of context:
1. I don't have any A/C... creating some room for the power steering pump to be mounted in any way
2. I am attempting to re-use the 1992 P/S Pump with this swap; a feat I haven't seen done in a 5VZfe swap before (crazier things have been done!)
3. I have a bit of a gameplan based off of your suggestion, and using the previous bracket that was on the Block and an angle grinder ... pics and update to follow...

This is the idea;
The threaded piece that was broken off is actually for the Air Conditioner anyways, so it's not a big deal to fix or not fix.
The only thing to consider is that the PS pump is sitting close to the Timing belt.. I'll work through this with some more grinding and perhaps welding in some universal brackets to have it sit a little further out.
Progress pics to come...
