Aussie vs Spartan lockers

well, I just checked my email and I finally heard back from torqmasters. I emailed them asking about when they would be in stock a month ago...
"We apologize for the delay in responding to your email. Approx. Nov. 1 we transferred our email to G-mail for what was supposed to be better service. Today we found that hundreds of emails had been diverted to the spam folder.
The XD20830 Toyota 8" Aussie Locker is in a shipment leaving Australia on Friday. We should be shipping orders on the 15th. We will open the web site for orders this weekend."

Theres no Ox locker for a toy 8"
and Big Blue.. id really like to see this link to a mechanical locker for a Toyota third because I've never heard of one.
to OP.. i run an Aussie and its been fine. You're going to have the same quirks with ANY of the brands, popping juttering etc.. its the nature of the beast.

there aren't any ox lockers for a toyota 8", but there should be. i know i would buy at least 1 if they were made. i'm sure i'm not the only one too.
requires a hell of a lot more money/time/effort. cable > elocker > ARB (my opinion)
i'd be willing to argue an aussie/lockrite/spartan is more reliable in addition to cheap/fast/easy, on the premise that there are fewer variables like wiring/air lines/cables that can get snagged

Well i went with the spartan and just got it installed yesterday and put the 4 runner back together today and man is it awesome! i flipped multiple U turns to test it out and to my suprise no tire chirping and minimal clanking and I was also told to put lucas motor oil treatment in with my Diff oil to help prevent locker bite and it has been awesome! thanks for you guys' input!

I haven't noticed that the rears get eaten all that much faster than the fronts. I drive mostly mountain roads with a lot of sharp corners. Don't know how it'd be on city streets
