Haha! I don't think I've ever seen a jeep make it past 100,000 miles! I'm surprised you'd say that even owning a Toy. Sounds like you have no faith in Toys.

My last '86 4Runner I had for 6ys, had 329K miles on it when I sold it and I still got $6k for it when we parted ways.

My jeep has 340,000 on the 2.5l I4.... But it doesn't surprise me that a toy can go that far...

Yeah, I'd like to know exactly what all has been repaired/replaced on this truck.

With the way he racks up milage per year, seems like he'd be getting an oil change once a month and a new T-belt every year.

wow, if I could get 250 out of my motor, I'd be souped. The tranny I know won;t last that long, it is an auto, and I really beat on it.

Wow, suprising, From all I've ever seen, autos never run for a million miles(experience is mostly with Fords though) If I were to get 200k out of mine, I'd be souped, it is running very strong at 70k, and I have had the 60k maintenence. Awesome story.

that is kinda hard to fathom... what exactly does he do to get that much mileage? the mileage isnt on the engine but on the truck...right? someone mentioned that he had a new engine put in..... i can believe the figure on two seperate engines.

Either way, racking up a million miles in 16yrs is pretty fast!

I average 20k miles on my 4R. If I tried to rack up a million miles on my current 4R by doing 20k miles a year, I'd be 72 yrs old when I finally hit the mark.

I'll try it and see how far I can make it. haha

It looks like he lives in my area. If I see him around town sometime then I will ask him what he has had to fix. I wonder how his timing chain guides have held up?

Please do!! Find out as much as you can...also try and talk him into adding more info about his Toyota on his site. He's a little vague about it.
