I appreciate the nominations y'all. Your comments are kind. My personal life and other efforts will at least temporarily conflict with Mod responsibilities here. I'd hate to disappoint.
In light of my personal experience with Rocko, I think he is Mod material and would 2nd his nomination.
This is not to exclude the many other fine folks I have met on this board. I consider them to be friends. Rocko has been nominated, so I'll second that. He is willing and capable as well as even tempered....truly a southern gentleman.

Sorry so long, but...
I wanted to post my thoughts before going out for a few days...
Depending on their willingness and free time, definitely consider Katie and Justin. Justin, well, because both he and Katie work on tech/overhaul stuff, and well, honestly with Katie, because like with Molly, a lady's touch is a needed thing in forums like this that strive for a family presentation. If it weren't for posts like Molly's and Katie's, my lovely wife wouldn't understand why I play here, or get into this stuff without their presence.
*Brian, does this sound like too much drivel?
As to the message I got, (yes I asked before freely posting a private email), I do know a certain person with admin/mod abilities, but like Fuster, know that that person's free time is very limited. The idea of that person's willingness to pull "Substitute Duty's" been mentioned to the needed people.
That being said, Fuster, definitely consider "subbing", wearing a crown every so often's not that bad, and let's mods who work hard some well deserved time off to do community oriented things, while keeping the place from going haywire, IMHO.

I would like to nominate Habanero if she is willing. She is very knowledgeable with Toyotas, is very well liked here, and has a nice streak a mile long. Have never heard her say anything bad about anyone.
I would also nominate Katy[Euphorickaty]for the same reasons.

I nominate Flygtenstein...the Lumberjack/Philosopher. He is very knowledgeable and is not afraid to say what is on his mind.

I dunno, Paul I understand that Habanero is a chronic masticator. She does it in public and with enthusiam....we should consider this carefully
I mean, one can only imagine what she must be thinking while engaged in such behavior......

I second Hab! A lady's touch can be invaluable and she has been so fair to all over the years.

Adrian would be the first to say he is not affraid of this... LOL
But alas speaking your mind is not something you can always do as a Mod. I will be the first to say I don't have all friends here and have at times spoken my mind on the issue and at other times (most of them) must hold my tongue for the good of moderation...
That is the hardest part of being a mod IMHO

Oh, you would be very scared to know what's floating around in my head, Fuster. Very scared.
Wow, Paul. That's a very kind nomination from you.
Well...
I'm here to learn about what works for wheeling and what's best left alone, picking up technical details and other's repair experiences on the 3rd gen 4runner, and for general banter with occasional cyber-hugs. My lack of experience causes me to demur to someone infinitely more useful to the board.
There are many here who know a lot more than I on the care, repair and wheeling of the various yotas, plus the patience to deal with those of us that are trying to learn, keep their posts family friendly and even-keeled, and have a caring attitude towards the group in general. Peter comes to mind, but what he goes by here escapes me at the moment. Still, there are others....

I'll bet that list says something about masticating on it......
