Breather - Small one-way valve or filter designed to vent pressurized gasses from an enclosure, such as a differential/axle housing, transmission, transfer case, crankcase, etc.

Cutout - Exhaust cutout. An exhaust cutout is a manually or electronically controlled bypass valve installed in a cutout portion of the exhaust system, usually as near to the exhaust manifold or header as possible.
