Senior project on my first car?
i am running out of time and need ideas for a senior project it has to be 25 hours long and appeal to the board. Any ideas would be greatly apreciated. I want to do it to the truck because my dad loves this truck and hes more likely to help fund me. Replace suspension and lift it?(i have no clue how) Carboin fiber sub box? Redo all brakes? Install cold air intake?(idk how to do that)?

i swapped the body off an 84 4runner to an 88 pickup for mine back in the day. you could do a solid axle swap that will get you your hours. engine rebuild. do all the bodywork and paint it.

DIY tube bumper, DIY snorkel, swap the cluster, swap the seats, audio, put a CB in it, diamond plate everything haha, build a small trailer for the truck etc. almost everything you do will cost money and time.
What is the point of the senior project though?

its stupid really. to graduate high school you have to put 30 or so hours and complete a project. i had to do it as well as 50 hrs. of community service to graduate. i did mine in a weekend and goofed off the rest of the year

So, I think it would be good to do the front end, les schwab tryed to tell me I have to put all new steering stuff in because they won't align it. The truck also needs brakes and shocks/suspension. I also wouldn't mind lifting it aprox one inch. Would that give me more or less than 25 hours if I'm learning for the first time?

do like i did and roll it so you can put a new cab on it, thats what I did for my project and it worked for me. LOL JK I didnt roll it on purpose but I did roll it and it just happened to be a good project idea and if it werent for that it wouldve probably went to scrap or parts but its not bad that you dont know how to do that stuff, the point is for you to learn how to do it, so get an idea and find somebody that knows what there doing and have them help you.
