Rust in fuel rail and lines (tank cleaned)
So I'm having issues with my injectors clogging (fortunately auto zone has a laxed return policy!) and I want to ensure everything is clear before installing my new flamethrower injectors on my 87 Pickup. The PO cleaned up the tank and installed a cheap-o pump which failed recently (the screen was clear when I replaced the pump).
So now I'm onto blowing out the lines and such. The fuel rail and line between the filter and rail all had crud in them. It appears as though there is some surface rust inside the fuel rail and I'm wondering if that'll be ok --if not, how best can I clean it up so it doesn't give me problems in the future?
Would appreciate any recommendation!
