Talking need help on tire size 86 4runner

i have a 86 4runner im slowly building up. it has a 4cyl 22re 5spd i have a old man emu spring tosion lift now have ball joint spacers and longer shackles too. I am currently running procomp x terrain 31/12.50/15 on 10" rims and would like to run bigger tires i know i can fit 33"s on but would like to do sas in future. Can i run 35's on this lift cause i want to buy tires only once . I dont mind cutting alittle on fenders i already have cut out flares from bushwacker on and i dont mind a small body lift too. If i can go 35's i will do gearing and lockrights in diffs and maybe a dual case and a twinstick this winter then as i can afford it a sas last. thanks for any help

It should work, but you may or may not need to modify the firewall. I would try without the bl first just to save you some money, and if you feel you need it after that, then get it.

thanks for the answers. this site rocks! I am probably going to buy 35/14.50 15 boggers but i didnt want the 4runner to suck offroad just to get the bigger tires on. If i have to I'll stay with 33" but would like to know the main problems with running 35's on the 4cyl and drivetrain with the ifs.I had a 86 just like this in the past with 33's and liked it alot but now it seems like everyone is going the biggest tire least lift combo on the trucks and it's alittle confusing some input from you guys that have done this already would be great.
