Mis Matched gears in a 92 Runner
So I have been in my money pit since last spring, so far I have had the front end (IFS) rebuilt, only one cv axle replaced, replaced the slave cylinder, fuel pump, fuel filter, rear axle seals, new premium Warn Hubs. Now since I got my 4x4 engaging found the runner has mismatch gears 4:10 rear 4:30 front, opted to have the rear match the front I got a some 4.30 gears out of a Toyota in central Washington that are Posi rear. So I currently have 33" 12.5 R 15' bighorns and the 3.0 slow in it with a 5 speed, but my next investment will be having cliff at Toy Only Swaps do a 3.4 swap and super charge. My question is what kind of performance can I expect with the 4.30 gears and my tires with my current engine and then my upgraded engine. plan on staying 33's thanks in advance for any helpful information!

How do you know the rear is a posi?
It will still be sort of a pig with 4.30's with the 3.0 imo. A lot of 2nd Gens came stock with 4.88's

My 92 with the 3.4 loaded with more and more stuff( welding cable steel drops I was given etc) since I had it .
Has enough power I need to remember to keep my foot out of it
Pretty much just shift to 5th and drive .
Let a friend drive it that liked his 3.0 not long after he was doing a 3.4 swap
