fuel or timing or egr or???

hey all first off let me introduce myself, my name is ray and im an alcoholic... ooops wrong meeting ha anyway ive had many toys over the years and now just picked another one!! yipee but this one has me stumped? and i thought just maybe some one on this site has had the same problem? 88 4x4 efi 22re 173k ecm/cel codes 25-26 rich and lean but no cat its gone? anyway starts and runs great til i put a load on it then acts like there no fuel? doesnt stall just wont accel. ive done timing,fuel filter,tested tps,map,knock, it seems to have good fuel pressure? but i dont have a gauge im going to get one in the am but ive never had a pump work like that usually they either work or they dont? any help or input is gunna be sweet thanks

A fuel pump that`s bad can still put out enough fuel presure to let an engine idle, but when you put a load on the engine there is not enough fuel there accelerate. Another thing to check is the AFM, make sure the flapper door moves freely, if it can`t open or close freely the engine won`t get enough air.

Hey thank you for the reply I used a fuel pressure gauge inline and ran it ha turns out not only was the pump bad but the D.A. that "fixed" it before me bent the hanger and made a GM pump fit!! Wow lol anyway seems to have fixed the issue
