98 - 4 Runner Head relay Switch Noise?
My 4 runner sits most of the time in fact I had gotten mold inside of it so I decided to start and clean it will battery was dead (old battery) so I went and got a new battery fired right up.
Checked alternator putting out 13.5 volts to battery also checked all accessories everything worked normal. I parked it after wards for about a week went out to start it wouldn't start left it for about 3 days longer because I didn't want to work on it in the rain. When I was walking up to car to pull battery to charge it I heard a noise coming from under the hood, opened hood and found noise coming from the Head relay switch" Note no key is in ignition cylinder" so how can I have power to the relay switch with no key in cylinder??? I am sure this is what caused the new battery to be drained.
