Lightbulb 2" body lift + 3" suspension lift for 35s

So I got a stock 91 4runner auto. I'm lookin at 35/12.50r15 mud tires/rims with 3.75 backspacing that I would get a lift to fit. Now I read a lot of posts with just suspension lifts to fit 35s but what about 2" body lift and 3" suspension lift will that work to fit 35/12.50/15??

3" lift will get me 35/12.50 with no rubbing issues?

You can make anything fit - technically you could them on stock suspension if you cut your fenders and tub the firewall.
With the lift I think you'd be close enough to maybe skip the BL or only go with 1" if needed, just do some clearancing.

I don't run 35s, but have thought about it. On my 1993 truck I run 33x12.5 on a 15x8-3.75" wheel, my suspension sits at 22.5" with BJ spacers and some tbar adjustment. I think I could get 35s to fit if I did more pounding on the firewall and trim the bumper more. Aftermarket bumper would likely already clear and the smarter route against the firewall would be to tub it for max clearance, but this requires welding. If I just pound the firewall more it would likely clear on the street, but not when max flexed/turn since I have no front swaybar. A 1" BL might be all it needs at that point, but then it may impact your decision if having to buy bolt-on aftermarket armor in the future, since they will now have a 1" gap unless designed for a BL application.
